Watkins Equine Breeding Center takes great pride in presenting our 2018 Stallion Roster. These outstanding stallions represent the finest in quality cutting horse bloodlines. All stallions are EVA tested negative and vaccinated.
Watkins Equine Breeding Center's state of the art breeding facilities was designed with the safety and comfort of the mare, foal and stallion in mind. The main barn features large 15' x 24' stalls. It consists of a central palpation area with attached lab, which allows for minimal stress to either the mare or foal. There are several large turnout pastures for wet and dry mares.
The stallion facilities consist of a separate stallion barn, for resident stallions, and collection room and lab, all under one roof. Each resident stallion has his own private paddock.
Resident Veterinarian: Dan L. Watkins, DVM, owner, performs all the reproduction procedures from collecting the stallions, processing the semen, palpating of mares, inseminations, ultrasound exams and embryo flushes.
Breeding Manager: Morgan Miller, Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Reproduction from Tarleton State University.
